Reflection February 9th, 2021

 Today in class we learned about crisis rhetoric and the 5 main parts that make up crisis rhetoric. The 5 main parts that make up a crisis rhetoric are as follows: urgency, crisis as reality, dramatic characters, policy as morality, and rhetorically generative. We then watched a video on Donald Trump's speech about  building a wall on the border of Mexico. As we watched the video, we dissected the video bit by bit and put the parts that went with the 5 parts of crisis rhetoric together. When we finished, we did a short review of everything we did today and class was dismissed.
